Nov. 3, 2025 — The Texas women received every first place vote to remain atop the US Professional Diving Coaches Association Division-I Coaches Poll. The Purdue men have leapfrogged the field as a decisive number one choice with preseason No. 1 Indiana and Texas in a close race at numbers two and three, respectively.
Rutgers and Arkansas, the top two teams in the most recent women’s Power Rankings, settle in at sixth and seventh behind Purdue, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Indiana.
Likewise, the Auburn men sit at No. 2 in the Power Rankings but are tied for seventh with Miami (FL) in the coaches’ eyes. Southern California and Missouri make huge jumps from the preseason poll and now sit and No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.
In the new composite dual-gender rankings, where we average the women’s and men’s polls for dual-gender programs only, Texas sits at the top with Purdue in a close second. Indiana, Florida, and Miami (FL) round out the Top 5.
Collectively, Princeton is the lone Ivy League member to crack the Top 25, coming in at 25th for the women and 21st for the men. IU Indianapolis is the only mid-major to make the Top 25 as their men appear at No. 25.
From a conference perspective, the BigTen have four women’s teams in the top six places while the SEC has four in the Top 10. BigTen men’s programs sit at 1-2-4, but the SEC has five teams inside the Top 10.

Indiana, Texas draw top billing in first-ever
US PDCA Coaches Polls
Oct. 8, 2025 — Indiana, Texas, Purdue, and Miami (FL) lead the way in the inaugural US Professional Diving Coaches Association Division-I Coaches Poll.
The 2025-26 preseason poll sees Texas at the top of the women’s ranking with Indiana atop both the men’s and combined rankings. Texas follows Indiana in those rankings while IU is fourth in the women’s poll.
Purdue appears in the top five in all three polls. The Hurricanes are sixth in the combined poll despite showing up at second in the women’s and third in the men’s poll.
North Carolina logs a pair of top five rankings but is 11th in the men’s poll. Ohio State is the only other program to appear in the top 10 in all three polls.
Power 4 programs fill the bulk of the rankings, but Ivy League power Princeton makes an appearance in all three polls, while Harvard charts for the women and receives votes in the combined ranking. Yale just missed the top 25 for the women while mid-majors Northern Arizona and Buffalo both receive votes in the women’s poll.
*Note that in our original preseason poll coaches voted on programs as a combined entity (men and women) as an additional poll. That model has seen been replaced with a composite ranking of dual-gender programs.
